RULES

Yeah, I know. Rules all over the place. Everyday life is spammed with rules, all of us have more or less learned to live with them. But hey - in everyday life rules are there to be broken, at this very spot please respect them. We want equal opportunities for every contestant. Here's the scoop:

[1] We accept maps for "Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault" exclusively. That includes both Singleplayer and Multiplayer.

[2] There will be separate judgings for Deathmatch / Teamplay and for Objective-based Multiplayer maps.

[3] All submitted works must originate from one unique author and not be a result of cooperation with others.

[4] Submissions must be included in a .pk3 file and accompanied by a typical .txt file with the same name, giving credit to the tools and artwork used and their authors, along with a brief description of the map and your contact information.

[5] All submissions must run without error messages on a newly installed version of "Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault", patched to the latest version.

[6] If the map has already been released perviously, we expect that you at least create a new revision.

[7] Beta-testing the map on public servers and offering it to a selected audience for that purpose is now allowed.

[8] The contest starts on June 3rd, 2002 and ends on August 11th, 2002 11:59pm. No submissions will be accepted beyond that time. Winners will be announced at this very spot at the end of August 2002.

Legal Notice:
a.) Being a german website we try our best and follow german legislation. As of that, user-submitted maps may under no circumstances contain references to nazi symbols eg. the Swastika. Otherwise we would by federal law not be allowed to distribute and show-off your work.
b.) All participants agree that 3DGaming.de is allowed to pass the submitted maps on to third parties eg. print or online media, in the form of a Contest Map Pack for distribution, without further notice. 3DGaming.de will under no circumstances make money off of that - the only goal is, as promised, to make your work available to as many people as possible.
